Still-Moving: Customized Video Generation without Customized Video Data

Customizing text-to-image (T2I) models has seen tremendous progress recently, particularly in areas such as personalization, stylization, and conditional generation. However, expanding this progress to video generation is still in its infancy, primarily due to the lack of customized video data. In this work, we introduce Still-Moving, a novel generic framework for customizing a text-to-video (T2V) model, without requiring any customized video data. The framework applies to the prominent T2V design where the video model is built over a text-to-image (T2I) model (e.g., via inflation). We assume access to a customized version of the T2I model, trained only on still image data (e.g., using DreamBooth or StyleDrop). Naively plugging in the weights of the customized T2I model into the T2V model often leads to significant artifacts or insufficient adherence to the customization data. To overcome this issue, we train lightweight Spatial Adapters that adjust the features produced by the injected T2I layers. Importantly, our adapters are trained on "frozen videos" (i.e., repeated images), constructed from image samples generated by the customized T2I model. This training is facilitated by a novel Motion Adapter module, which allows us to train on such static videos while preserving the motion prior of the video model. At test time, we remove the Motion Adapter modules and leave in only the trained Spatial Adapters. This restores the motion prior of the T2V model while adhering to the spatial prior of the customized T2I model. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach on diverse tasks including personalized, stylized, and conditional generation. In all evaluated scenarios, our method seamlessly integrates the spatial prior of the customized T2I model with a motion prior supplied by the T2V model.

GFlow: Recovering 4D World from Monocular Video

Reconstructing 4D scenes from video inputs is a crucial yet challenging task. Conventional methods usually rely on the assumptions of multi-view video inputs, known camera parameters, or static scenes, all of which are typically absent under in-the-wild scenarios. In this paper, we relax all these constraints and tackle a highly ambitious but practical task, which we termed as AnyV4D: we assume only one monocular video is available without any camera parameters as input, and we aim to recover the dynamic 4D world alongside the camera poses. To this end, we introduce GFlow, a new framework that utilizes only 2D priors (depth and optical flow) to lift a video (3D) to a 4D explicit representation, entailing a flow of Gaussian splatting through space and time. GFlow first clusters the scene into still and moving parts, then applies a sequential optimization process that optimizes camera poses and the dynamics of 3D Gaussian points based on 2D priors and scene clustering, ensuring fidelity among neighboring points and smooth movement across frames. Since dynamic scenes always introduce new content, we also propose a new pixel-wise densification strategy for Gaussian points to integrate new visual content. Moreover, GFlow transcends the boundaries of mere 4D reconstruction; it also enables tracking of any points across frames without the need for prior training and segments moving objects from the scene in an unsupervised way. Additionally, the camera poses of each frame can be derived from GFlow, allowing for rendering novel views of a video scene through changing camera pose. Unsupervised Monocular Depth Perception: Focusing on Moving Objects

As a flexible passive 3D sensing means, unsupervised learning of depth from monocular videos is becoming an important research topic. It utilizes the photometric errors between the target view and the synthesized views from its adjacent source views as the loss instead of the difference from the ground truth. Occlusion and scene dynamics in real-world scenes still adversely affect the learning, despite significant progress made recently. In this paper, we show that deliberately manipulating photometric errors can efficiently deal with these difficulties better. We first propose an outlier masking technique that considers the occluded or dynamic pixels as statistical outliers in the photometric error map. With the outlier masking, the network learns the depth of objects that move in the opposite direction to the camera more accurately. To the best of our knowledge, such cases have not been seriously considered in the previous works, even though they pose a high risk in applications like autonomous driving. We also propose an efficient weighted multi-scale scheme to reduce the artifacts in the predicted depth maps. Extensive experiments on the KITTI dataset and additional experiments on the Cityscapes dataset have verified the proposed approach's effectiveness on depth or ego-motion estimation. Furthermore, for the first time, we evaluate the predicted depth on the regions of dynamic objects and static background separately for both supervised and unsupervised methods. The evaluation further verifies the effectiveness of our proposed technical approach and provides some interesting observations that might inspire future research in this direction.

Video Individual Counting and Tracking from Moving Drones: A Benchmark and Methods

Counting and tracking dense crowds in large-scale scenes is a highly practical yet challenging problem. Existing methods mostly rely on fixed-camera datasets with limited scene coverage, making them inadequate for crowd analysis in large-scale scenes. To bridge this gap, we introduce MovingDroneCrowd++, the largest video-level dataset dedicated to dense crowd counting and tracking with fast-moving drones, captured under diverse flight altitudes, camera angles, and illumination conditions. Existing methods, however, still fail to achieve satisfactory video individual counting or tracking performance under these challenging aerial conditions. To this end, we propose GD3A (Global Density map Decomposition via group-wise Descriptor Association), a video individual counting method that first establishes pixel-level correspondences between pedestrian descriptors across frames via optimal transport with an adaptive dustbin score. Then, group-wise association is adopted to guide the decomposition of the global density map into shared, inflow, and outflow density maps. We further introduce a pedestrian tracking method, DVTrack (Descriptor Voting Track), which converts descriptor-level matching into instance-level association through descriptor voting. Our methods rely on the association results of group-wise multiple descriptors for each pedestrian rather than a single vector. Since intra-group matching errors do not affect the final counting and tracking results, our methods are more robust in dense crowds and challenging aerial conditions. Experiments show that our methods achieve substantial gains in both crowd counting and tracking on moving-drone videos with dense crowds and complex motions, reducing counting error by 47.4% and improving tracking accuracy by 64.6%. PerspectiveGap: A Benchmark for Multi-Agent Orchestration Prompting

Real-world LLM applications are moving beyond single-agent workflows toward orchestrated multi-agent systems, yet current models still struggle to determine what each sub-agent needs to know. To measure this, we introduce PerspectiveGap, a benchmark for evaluating LLMs' ability to compose orchestration prompts for multi-agent systems. PerspectiveGap contains 110 scenarios, each evaluated through two distractor-mixed task formats: role-fragment assignment and free-form prompt writing. These scenarios are organized into 10 topologies, which are distilled from the authors' real-world engineering practice and framed by the Prompt Economy principle: building loop-centered orchestrations that maximize utility with minimal role and engineering overhead. In experiments with 27 commercial models from 10 companies, GPT-5.5 substantially outperforms all competitors, whereas Opus 4.7 shows a notable weakness in orchestration prompting despite its strong coding performance. Nevertheless, PerspectiveGap remains challenging: the evaluated models achieve an average combined pass rate of only 14.9\% (GPT-5.5 62.0\%) and an average overall leakage rate of 246.5\% (a per-scenario information leak-event count, not a proportion; GPT-5.5 49.1\%). These findings suggest that multi-agent orchestration prompting is a distinct and under-evaluated capability, and PerspectiveGap provides a foundation for measuring and improving it systematically.

ST-VLM: Kinematic Instruction Tuning for Spatio-Temporal Reasoning in Vision-Language Models

Spatio-temporal reasoning is essential in understanding real-world environments in various fields, eg, autonomous driving and sports analytics. Recent advances have improved the spatial reasoning ability of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) by introducing large-scale data, but these models still struggle to analyze kinematic elements like traveled distance and speed of moving objects. To bridge this gap, we construct a spatio-temporal reasoning dataset and benchmark involving kinematic instruction tuning, referred to as STKit and STKit-Bench. They consist of real-world videos with 3D annotations, detailing object motion dynamics: traveled distance, speed, movement direction, inter-object distance comparisons, and relative movement direction. To further scale such data construction to videos without 3D labels, we propose an automatic pipeline to generate pseudo-labels using 4D reconstruction in real-world scale. With our kinematic instruction tuning data for spatio-temporal reasoning, we present ST-VLM, a VLM enhanced for spatio-temporal reasoning, which exhibits outstanding performance on STKit-Bench. Furthermore, we show that ST-VLM generalizes robustly across diverse domains and tasks, outperforming baselines on other spatio-temporal benchmarks (eg, ActivityNet, TVQA+). Finally, by integrating learned spatio-temporal reasoning with existing abilities, ST-VLM enables complex multi-step reasoning. Project page: https://ikodoh.github.io/ST-VLM.
